This self-assessment explores how DBT-aligned skills show up in your daily life. You will rate statements from Never to Always, covering mindfulness practice, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation strategies. There are no correct answers - only honest ones.
Results are grouped into four tiers: Minimal, Mild, Moderate, and High DBT skill use. Minimal suggests these skills are not yet part of your daily coping. Mild and Moderate indicate growing use. High scores reflect consistent use of emotionally intelligent, DBT-aligned strategies.
You do not need to have been in DBT therapy for this assessment to be useful. Many people develop these skills naturally or through self-help. Answer honestly about how you currently manage difficult emotions and situations.
