Concept

Instruction set: collection of binary commands a CPU recognizes. Defines operations CPU can perform. Interface between hardware and software.

Types of Instruction Set Architectures (ISA)

Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC)

Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing (EPIC)

Opcode and Operation Codes

Definition

Addressing Modes

Purpose
